Around 200,000 learners resit GCSE maths in England each year and fewer than one in five pass. ResitReady gives each of them a patient tutor between lessons — diagnosing gaps skill by skill, drilling them, rehearsing the exam — and gives you an honest, per-learner readiness picture.
Foundation-tier GCSE and Functional Skills Level 1 and 2, mapped to Pearson Edexcel. Every question carries a spec reference, and nothing is published without a human review step.
A deterministic, unit-tested engine marks every attempt. The AI only explains, hints and names misconceptions — it never decides whether an answer is right.
The tutor is scoped to the maths problem in front of the learner, with no open-ended chat, an age-appropriate tone, and a clear route to a person for any disclosure.
WCAG 2.2 AA: screen-reader-correct maths, high contrast, large targets, a dyslexia-friendly option. Works on the phone they already have.
Hosted and stored in the UK/EU, UK GDPR and ICO Age Appropriate Design Code followed, no session replay or behavioural tracking of learners.
A conservative per-skill readiness signal that tells you which learners are on track, which need intervention, and on which topics — before the exam, not after.
We’re proving pass-rate lift with individual learners first and running a small number of college pilots alongside. If you support 16–19 or adult learners on GCSE maths resit, Functional Skills Level 2 or Level 1, we’d like to talk.
Cohort licensing is priced per learner per academic year, with a free pilot for a first group. Get in touch with your cohort size and qualification mix and we'll come back with a proposal.
No. It's independent practice with a tutor in the loop — the ten minutes a day between lessons that most resit learners never get. Teachers see per-skill progress so lesson time goes where it's needed.
Content is written to the Pearson Edexcel GCSE foundation and Functional Skills Level 1 and 2 specifications. The Functional Skills subject content is shared across awarding bodies, so learners entered with other boards are well served on content; timings and layouts differ.
ResitReady is for learners aged 16 and over. The 16–17 cohort is the reason safeguarding is built into the product rather than bolted on — see our safeguarding page for what that means in practice.
Tell us your cohort size and qualification mix and we’ll come back within two working days. Partnerships: partnerships@resitready.com.
