Privacy

What we collect

• Your email address, so you can sign in.
• Your learning activity — answers, attempts and progress — so we can mark your work and show your readiness.
• An age band (16+), used only for safeguarding and age-appropriate design.

We deliberately keep this to a minimum. We don’t sell your data, and we don’t use behavioural advertising or session-replay tracking of learners.

Where it’s stored

Your data is stored in the UK/EU. We work under UK GDPR and follow the ICO’s Age Appropriate Design Code, given that many of our learners are young people.

The AI tutor

To generate hints, the current question, its worked solution and your answer are sent to our AI provider server-side. The tutor is scoped to the maths problem only, and we don’t send more personal data than needed to help you with that question.

Your rights

• Ask for a copy of your data (export).
• Ask us to delete your account and data.
• Ask us to correct anything that’s wrong.

Retention

We keep your data while your account is active. Tutor chat logs are retention-limited. If you delete your account, we remove your personal data except where we’re required to keep some records.
